Job SummaryWe are seeking an Electrical Engineer/Computer Scientist to join our team in New York, NY. As a member of our Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Practice, you will work on a wide range of projects, from developing software and data solutions to performing engineering and computer science analyses.
Key Responsibilities- Perform engineering and computer science analyses related to ongoing Exponent work
- Develop software and data solutions to complex technical problems
- Conduct numerical analysis, modeling, and simulation activities to support engineering goals
- Present technical results and solutions to a diverse audience through verbal, written, and interactive communication
- Prepare technical proposals and pursue business developments
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- Strong understanding of investigative analysis for troubleshooting technical issues and solving technical challenges
- Experience with finite element analysis, numerical analysis, modeling, and/or simulation of devices, systems, and/or networks
- Proficiency in at least one common programming language such as Python, C/C++, Java, MATLAB, or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, and ability to work independently or in multidisciplinary teams
