Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Secondary School Teacher to join our team at MONTBELLO MIDDLE SCHOOL. As a member of our school community, you will be responsible for teaching grade-level material, content-specific lesson plans, and Personal Development, following DPS standards-based curriculum in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Monitor and supervise student behavior, enforcing school and district policies.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, teachers, counselors, and administrators to resolve student behavioral and academic issues.
  • Prepare and present educational materials, adjusting teaching methods to meet student needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, assessments, and instructional strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Valid Colorado Department of Education teaching license.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
  • Ability to work with students, parents, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
