About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager to lead the development and testing of automation technologies that help scale our products. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving process and reliability improvement projects to maximize safe, economical, and effective use of materials, energy, and people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define Reliability Test Requirements: Develop and implement reliability test plans for mechanical, electrical, and component-level testing.
  • Own Reliability Test Planning: Collaborate with product design and development teams to create and execute reliability test plans.
  • Identify and Manage Tests: Develop and manage test plans, including test execution and collaboration with internal and external testing labs and engineering teams.
  • Facilitate Design/System Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA): Lead FMEA sessions to drive reliable design choices and improve verification and validation test planning.
  • Set and Communicate Reliability Requirements: Establish and communicate reliability requirements and targets for products, subsystems, and components to product designers.
  • Analyze Usage and Environmental Conditions: Analyze usage and environmental conditions from the field to improve requirement setting and testing methods.
  • Evaluate and Apply Statistical Analysis: Evaluate and apply statistical analysis to test and field data.
  • Collaborate with Design and Reliability Engineers: Collaborate with design and reliability engineers to define, interpret, and validate numeric models of fielded and in-test products.
  • Establish Best Practices: Establish best practices on sample size requirements and duration for reliability testing.
  • Communicate Reliability Risk: Communicate reliability risk at each phase of product development and path forward with planned test and verification plans.
  • Facilitate Failure Analysis Prioritization: Facilitate failure analysis prioritization meetings to prioritize root cause analysis and drive resolution during product development.
  • Influence Supplier Selection: Influence supplier selection for higher reliability and provide clear guidance on reliability requirements and demonstration to suppliers.
  • Establish and Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Establish and lead continuous improvement and strategic initiatives for reliability engineering.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Technical Product or Program Management Experience
  • 7+ Years of Working Directly with Engineering Teams Experience
  • Experience Managing Programs Across Cross-Functional Teams
  • Strong Working Knowledge of Reliability Principles
  • Working Knowledge of Designing and Executing Reliability Tests
  • Ability to Work Effectively in a Team Environment
  • Willingness to Travel
