We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at McDonald's. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees and overseeing the day-to-day operations of a specific department within the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead shifts and ensure that customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit.
  • Manage assigned departments, including Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
  • Set goals, delegate tasks, and follow up on results with your team.
  • Report results back to your team and other managers.
  • Ensure that all service staff are trained in service procedures and that the Front Counter, McCaf, and Drive-Thru areas are organized for the best service.
  • Control food cost and ensure that all kitchen staff are trained in production procedures, including new items that are added to the menu.
  • Recruit, train, and schedule qualified crew members to meet restaurant sales and profit goals.

Requirements

  • Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
  • Positive team players with flexible schedules who like to have fun.
  • The passion to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate-owned and operated restaurants.
