Job Title: Security Officer

At Freeport-McMoRan Inc., we are committed to providing a safe and secure work environment for our employees and visitors. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform patrols of the property to detect and prevent security breaches
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
  • Monitor and control access to the facility
  • Enforce company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency response teams
  • Provide basic life support and first aid as needed
Requirements:
  • Current certification as an EMT is required
  • Skilled in responding appropriately to emergency and conflict situations
  • Knowledge of site rules, regulations, policies and procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Proficiency in the operation of a personal computer to include Microsoft applications
