Job DescriptionThis is a unique opportunity to lead a talented team of Maintenance Technicians and contribute to the success of our community. You'll be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and repairing complex maintenance issues in various areas, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more
- Developing and implementing preventative maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and ensure resident satisfaction
- Training, mentoring, and overseeing Maintenance Technicians I and IIs to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel
- Conducting regular inspections of community grounds and buildings to identify maintenance needs and prevent potential issues
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance work, including knowledge of HVAC repair, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance repair work
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- HVAC certifications (CFC) or willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents and colleagues
- Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ability to use properly
