About the Role:

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive medical care, working under the guidance of clinical leadership or a primary care physician. This position ensures high-quality healthcare services by performing a full spectrum of medical duties in alignment with state regulations, facility policies, and established procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts admission and annual medical examinations, reevaluates ongoing cases, and coordinates treatment planning as necessary.

  • Provides medical treatment, orders required studies, tests, and ancillary services, and performs minor surgical procedures within granted privileges.

  • Accurately and promptly documents all services in the medical record using the facility-approved format.

  • Attends healthcare employee meetings, continuous quality improvement meetings, infection control meetings, and other leadership-requested meetings.

  • Makes observations and submits non-formulary medication requests with appropriate documentation for clinical leader approval.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program from an accredited University.

  • Prior relevant medical practice experience.

  • Current license in the state of practice and DEA registration.
