Telecommunications Construction Specialist

An Akron-based Telecommunications Construction Firm is in search of a dedicated and skilled traveling technician to become part of their team.

Shift: 1st (7a-5p)

  • Travel to various job locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania from Monday to Thursday, returning to the base on Thursday afternoon
  • Work at the Akron facility on Fridays preparing the vehicle for the upcoming week
  • All travel costs covered by the organization

Compensation: $18-30/hr (Based on Experience)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in general construction or electrical-related work
  • Familiarity with AC/DC power systems
  • Prior experience in the Telecommunications Construction sector is preferred

Responsibilities Include:

  • Installation and upkeep of underground telecommunications infrastructure
  • Working in diverse weather conditions
  • Excavation, backfilling, and site restoration
  • Installation of electrical and fiber PVC systems
  • Establishment of grounding systems

Benefits:

  • 6 paid holidays
  • 2 weeks off during Thanksgiving and Christmas
  • 40 to 60 hours per week maximum
