Compensation: Up to $60,000 plus commission, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture trusted relationships with existing clients, including Electrical and General Contractors.
- Identify opportunities for upgrades and modifications to fire alarm systems.
- Engage in outreach to potential clients and contractors to build new relationships.
- Organize educational sessions for prospective clients regarding our offerings.
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics effectively.
- Maintain accurate sales data using our tracking system.
- Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Exhibit a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Follow company policies and uphold our core values.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated sales experience in the Life Safety sector.
- Professional appearance and a well-maintained vehicle.
- Valid driver's license.
- Successful completion of drug and background checks.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Capable of performing repetitive tasks while using a computer.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions and noise levels.
- Regularly required to communicate verbally and hear effectively; frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands for various tasks.
Hiring Process:
- Completion of the I-9 Verification form is required within three days of employment.
- All candidates must undergo background checks, including criminal history and driving records.
- A urinalysis test for substance abuse is mandatory if an offer of employment is extended.
