Job Title: Electrical Systems Engineer

Spectra Tech is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing the health of multiple facilities, preparing and reviewing design changes, determining replacements for obsolete parts and systems, troubleshooting system equipment, and supporting and resolving installation technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess system health and identify areas for improvement
  • Prepare and review design changes to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Determine replacements for obsolete parts and systems
  • Troubleshoot system equipment and resolve technical issues
  • Support and resolve installation technical issues
  • Collaborate with other system engineers to determine replacements for obsolete systems and parts

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical systems engineering
  • Strong knowledge of electrical equipment specifications and calculation software
  • Experience with low voltage electrical distribution, motors, VFDs, MCCs, and coordination studies
  • Hands-on experience with electrical equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position that requires in-person work. The ideal candidate will be a US citizen and have a strong understanding of electrical systems engineering principles and practices.
