About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with intermediate experience to join our team at Savannah River National Laboratory. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems, including automation, robotics, and data acquisition systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems, including automation, robotics, and data acquisition systems
  • Test and validate electrical systems to ensure they meet specifications and requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other systems and technologies
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including technical manuals, reports, and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering and automation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on automation and controls
  • Experience with PLC systems, data acquisition, and robotics
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including circuit design and analysis
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience in an equipment development environment
  • Experience developing control systems, data acquisition, and PLC systems
