About the OpportunityWe're seeking a highly skilled Advanced Manufacturing Technician to join our team as a 1st or 2nd Shift Robot Operator/Ceramic Mold-making. As a crucial member of our team, you'll operate three and six-axis robots to produce ceramic molds for our advanced investment casting process.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Input work instructions for individual jobs on 3 axis and 6 axis dipping robots
- Troubleshoot issues
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
- Document and maintain records in manufacturing software system
- Add materials for mixing ceramic slurry maintaining accurate specifications and chemistry
- Regulate humidity and temperature levels to ensure consistency
- Hand dip wax components into slurry and sand mixtures
- Remove sand/excess from ceramic molds
The ideal candidate will possess basic computer knowledge, ability to read instructions and follow directions accurately with limited supervision, basic communication skills, and ability to multi-task and alternate workstations. Robot operator experience is preferred.
