Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teacher to join our team at Greenbriar Children's Center, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of professional child care experience and a strong understanding of child development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement educational curriculum that aligns with developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
  • Lead by example, motivate and coach teaching team members to ensure their success.
  • Plan engaging activities to promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth in children.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Ensure compliance with center policies and state regulations.
  • Cultivate a healthy classroom environment, emphasizing hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
  • One year of professional child care experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, basic computer skills, and excellent leadership abilities.
  • Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Frequent walks, use of hands and fingers, handling objects, tools or controls, talking to and hearing voices at various levels.
  • Able to see up close and up to a certain distance, colors, have peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Salary and Benefits

Estimated salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
