We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Hospitalist Physician to join our esteemed practice. This role is designed for individuals who are board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, with a focus on nocturnal hospitalist responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients admitted to the Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit, or hospital.
- Coordinate all necessary tests, evaluations, and treatments for patients.
- Collaborate with primary care physicians to formulate effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate hospital records and manage medication protocols.
- Arrange follow-up care for patients post-discharge.
- Prescribe appropriate medications as needed.
- Effectively communicate with physicians, patients, and their families to ensure comprehensive care.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible MD/DO in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- A minimum of one year of experience in hospital medicine.
This is a full-time position with an average of 35 hours worked per week, primarily during night shifts. The average patient load is between 20-22 patients per shift.
