This role will support our well-established Internal Medicine Residency Program at Overlook Medical Center, providing training and education to 43 residents.

About the Role

The Associate Program Director will collaborate with the Program Director in developing, implementing, and reviewing all aspects of the Internal Medicine Training Curriculum. This will involve a balanced commitment of 50% administrative responsibilities and 50% clinical duties, including precepting residents in an ambulatory setting located in Union, New Jersey.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the Internal Medicine Training Curriculum
  • Collaborate with the Program Director to review and improve the curriculum
  • Precept residents in an ambulatory setting
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the Internal Medicine Residency Program
Qualifications
  • Board certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of New Jersey
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience precepting and evaluating medical students and/or residents
  • Ambulatory experience highly preferred
