Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Della Infotech. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining large industrial textile processing equipment, as well as facility maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform start-up and shut-down procedures for plant machinery
  • Operate and maintain boilers and boiler room equipment, performing water and boiler tests as needed
  • Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance inspections and services on industrial processing equipment, water levels, water systems, and other equipment and systems
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments as necessary
  • Clean and maintain machines and machine parts, oiling and lubricating moving parts to ensure effective performance
  • Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts, ordering and installing replacement parts as needed
  • Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines and repair them quickly and efficiently
  • Prepare reports documenting work performed and maintain accurate and timely records of maintenance
  • Clean, organize, inventory, stock, and maintain shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies
  • Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines and respond to daily maintenance requests in a timely fashion to minimize equipment downtime
  • Collaborate with product managers and plant engineers regarding new products and modifications
  • Program PLCs and maintain and repair trucks as needed
  • Perform lockout/tagout and other safety procedures, maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of industrial textile processing equipment and facility maintenance
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team, troubleshooting and repairing equipment as needed
  • Proficient in reading electrical schematics and maintaining accurate records of maintenance performed
  • Ability to work well with a diverse workforce and follow directions given by team leads and supervisors
  • Positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Ability to work past scheduled hours as production issues may arise, or work additional shifts as needed
