Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Accountant to join our team at Clearwave Corporation. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify financial records and transactions to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial operations
  • Assist with audits and taxes, ensuring compliance with all internal processes
  • Responsible for customer invoicing, including sales tax compliance
  • Process new customer setup and maintain customer account information
  • Generate and send account statements to customers
  • Answer customer questions related to invoicing and contract payment terms
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable collections and weekly A/R aging report
  • Assist with Deferred Revenue Reconciliation and sales tax reporting
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting with at least 2 years' experience
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Experience with QuickBooks and Salesforce is a plus
