We are seeking a skilled School Based Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Family Service Rochester. As a key member of our collaborative school team, you will play a vital role in ensuring student success in their learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mental health therapeutic services, co-located in the school setting to increase access for students who would otherwise not have access to services.
  • Consistently demonstrate clinical competence by providing therapy and diagnostic services to students and their families.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with school sites and community members to expand and maintain SBMH collaborative efforts.

This position requires a master's degree in a human service field and licensure in the State of Minnesota for independent practice in social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy. Alternatively, you may be qualified as a Clinical Trainee working towards independent licensure, as defined by State of Minnesota statutes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or a keen interest in developing expertise in a Trauma-Informed, Solution-Focused, brief therapy model of practice.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office, with a demonstrated ability to adapt to an electronic health record system.
