Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and supervise craft activities, including method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, temporary power sources, and work schedule.
  • Coordinate assigned work with work of different crafts, company departments, or other contractors.
  • Maintain liaison with engineering and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule.
  • Assist in resolving construction problems, such as lack of productivity, work interfaces, etc.
  • Monitor craft compliance with project safety program requirements and document corrective measures.
  • Maintain liaison with vendors and inspectors to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc., support craft activities and project schedule.
Requirements
  • Completion of a four-year accredited electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience.
  • Minimum of four years supervisory experience in similar facility construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures.
  • Must have a safe driving record and a valid driver's license according to legal requirements.
  • Valid Colorado (or reciprocal) JW license.
  • OSHA 30 certification a plus.
  • Advanced blueprint reading and interpretation experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and ability to control and supervise ten to fifty employees.
