Position Summary

The Loan Administrator plays a crucial role in providing administrative assistance to loan officers. This position involves managing loan documentation for various types of loans, including commercial, agricultural, and consumer loans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process loan applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Prepare and maintain loan documents, such as promissory notes and security agreements.
  • Verify that insurance requirements are accurate and current.
  • Ensure all documents are properly executed and comply with regulatory standards.
  • Monitor loan files to keep them updated with relevant information and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain the file monitoring system effectively.
  • Assist in preparing loan disbursements and payments, ensuring accurate record-keeping throughout the loan lifecycle.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, providing assistance and addressing inquiries.
  • Collaborate with lending officers, credit analysts, and other departments to streamline loan origination and servicing processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with banking systems, such as Fiserv Premier, is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential for this role.
