As a Maintenance Planning Specialist, you will play a critical role in improving the maintenance workforce’ productivity and quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance resources, parts, materials, and equipment access.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate material and labor requirements for maintenance jobs
  • Identify tool and equipment requirements
  • Develop job material lists
  • Manage stock levels and create stock reservations for planned work
  • Assist the storeroom function in kitting and staging job material requirements
  • Coordinate with operations, purchasing, storeroom, maintenance personnel, and maintenance management
  • Manage rebuild parts programs
  • Develop and track maintenance and repair budgets
  • Participate in reliability teams to improve maintenance strategies and eliminate failures

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in a related field
  • ~5+ years of maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CMMS
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
