Position Overview

Rome Memorial Hospital is in search of dedicated Emergency Services Technicians to enhance our healthcare team. The Emergency Services Technician plays a crucial role in delivering safe and high-quality patient care.

This position involves assisting patients with daily living activities in a compassionate, efficient, and timely manner under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing general patient care, including accurate monitoring of vital signs, weights, and intake and output.
  • Assisting patients during meal times and supporting special procedures as per established nursing protocols.
  • Responding to patient call lights, anticipating needs, and maintaining a cooperative demeanor while assisting.
  • Collecting, labeling, and transporting specimens as required.
  • Executing tasks with precision during emergencies, as directed by the Clinical Leader, Nurse Manager, or Director.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED is required.

Minimum of three months of experience in an acute care setting is preferred. Relevant experience may include roles such as Nursing Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, Student Nurse, Graduate Nurse, or Medic.
