Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience and drive sales by building new relationships and engaging with our loyal clientele.

  • Act as a passionate and knowledgeable brand representative, offering expert home styling advice across all product categories.
  • Become well-versed in our product offerings, including staying informed about new launches and collections.
  • Contribute to achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop proficiency in our Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and execute store opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain organization in the store and stockroom, ensuring that merchandise on the sales floor aligns with brand standards.
  • Adhere to inventory control procedures effectively.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance sales, improve customer experience, and streamline processes.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in specialty retail, preferably with a reputable brand.
  • Experience in boutique, luxury, or contemporary retail is preferred (experience in fashion or home decor is a plus).
  • Proven ability to drive sales and grow business (a track record of exceeding sales goals is advantageous).
  • A friendly and energetic demeanor with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • A desire to positively impact both the community and team culture.
  • A genuine passion for The Citizenry's brand and vision.
  • Availability to work weekends and a flexible schedule, including evenings and events.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (additional language skills are a bonus).
  • Physical ability to lift 25-50 lb. boxes and perform tasks such as bending, reaching, and moving stock.
