About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our Inpatient Care team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing expert nutrition care to our patients, ensuring they receive the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough nutrition assessments and develop personalized care plans for patients with complex nutritional needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement evidence-based nutrition interventions and monitor patient progress.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers on nutrition-related topics, promoting healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in clinical nutrition, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Foods and Nutrition, or related field.
  • Master's degree in Dietetics or related field (for those entering the workforce after 1/1/2024).
  • Completion of a Didactic Program in Dietetics and Dietetic Internship or Coordinated Program in Dietetics accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
  • National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Oregon Dietitian License (within 6 months of hire).
  • Dietitian license in state of hire and wherever care is delivered (within 6 months of hire).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
