Dietitian - Inpatient Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Providence Milwaukie Hospital. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in enhancing patient health and recovery through optimal nutrition. You will leverage your clinical expertise to conduct thorough nutrition assessments, provide education, and implement interventions aimed at improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough nutrition assessments and develop personalized nutrition plans for patients
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on healthy eating habits and nutrition
- Implement interventions aimed at improving patient outcomes and enhancing patient health and recovery
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services
- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Foods and Nutrition, or related area
- Master's degree in Dietetics or related area (for those entering the workforce after 1/1/2024)
- Completion of required dietetics coursework and supervised practice through a Didactic Program in Dietetics and Dietetic Internship or Coordinated Program in Dietetics accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
- National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Oregon Dietitian License
- Dietitian license in state of hire and wherever care is delivered
- 1 year of clinical experience
