Key Responsibilities:

The Patient Services Coordinator serves as the initial point of contact for patients entering the facility, responsible for welcoming, registering, and scheduling patient appointments.

Duties include verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, collecting co-payments, and gathering essential financial information from various sources to establish payment plans and Medicare coverage. This role also involves answering phone inquiries and providing primary information to patients in the waiting area.

Qualifications:
Minimum: High School Diploma or GED

Basic computer proficiency required

Familiarity with Outlook and Windows-based applications

Preferred: Previous experience in a medical office or insurance setting

Bilingual skills are a plus.
