Emergency Response Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Technician to join our team at Providence Newberg Medical Center. As an integral part of our emergency department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with emergency team members to deliver direct patient care and optimize patient outcomes.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during procedures, ensuring the availability of necessary supplies and equipment.
- Maintain proper sterile technique during procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Participate in the prevention and management of assaultive behavior (PMAB) training and adhere to hospital policies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) certification upon hire and annually.
- 1 year of relevant experience in patient care or clinical settings.
- Patient care or clinical experience preferred, with consideration given to experience acquired during certification or licensure processes, military experience as medical personnel, or senior clinical nursing student experience.
- Current or previous EMT, Paramedic, or completion of a Medical Assistant Program or CNA certificate upon hire.
