Job Summary
As a Respiratory Therapist on our Traveler Team, you will have the opportunity to work with our team of dedicated healthcare professionals in various locations throughout the Western Slope of Colorado, Denver Metro, and Montana areas. This role involves performing, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic testing procedures, administering medications, and communicating effectively with patients, staff, and physicians. Your strong clinical skills, combined with your ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, will make you an invaluable asset to our team.
Responsibilities
- Perform, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic testing procedures according to protocol.
- Administer medications in a timely and safe manner.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain awareness of assigned patient's overall condition and make appropriate recommendations for patient care.
- Recognize the educational needs of patients and families in relation to health promotion and wellness.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved program for Respiratory Therapy.
- One (1) year of hospital experience, including critical care, as a Therapist.
- Current license as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Colorado.
- Ability to obtain Respiratory Therapist License in the state of Montana.
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) course completion card.

This includes a generous salary of $60.00 per hour, with the possibility of an additional $7.25 to $999.99 per hour based on experience. Work Environment
You will be working in various locations throughout the Western Slope of Colorado, Denver Metro, and Montana areas. This role involves frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors, and requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will also be working in a fast-paced environment, with varying levels of patient activity and equipment usage.
