About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infection Preventionist to join our team at Lebanon Center in Lebanon, NH. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective infection prevention and control strategies to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the Infection Prevention and Control Program (IPCP) to prevent and control infections and communicable diseases within the nursing center.
  • Provide education and training to staff on infection prevention and control best practices.
  • Conduct surveillance and monitoring to identify and investigate potential infection control issues.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
  • Support new hire orientation and provide infection prevention and control training to newly hired employees.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Minimum of three years full-time or equivalent nursing experience.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet with employees working evening and night shifts.
