**Food and Beverage PM Server**

**Position**

Seasonal Food and Beverage- PM Server (Early May- Mid October)

**Classification**

Full-Time Seasonal, Hourly, Non-Exempt

**Reports To**

Events and Food and Beverage Director

Food and Beverage Managers

**Job Summary**

To promptly greet and serve all guests at the assigned service location from the hours of 1:00pm to 12:00am (hours may vary on service needs), which includes providing exceptional hospitality and guest experience.

**Qualifications**

* Must be 18 years of age

* Minimum 2 years of fine dining in a restaurant or club setting

* Knowledge of fine dining steps of service

* General knowledge of food preparation

* Experience with proper wine service

* Knowledge of craft cocktails, beer and variety of spirits

* Required to stand for long periods of time

* Capable of lifting 50 pounds

* Must be able to bend, squat, lift and raise as needed along with carrying 10 pounds for an extended distance

* Ability to complete Responsible Beverage Server Training Course

* General math, problem solving and decision-making skills

* Ability to communicate with guests and employees with a positive attitude

**Responsibilities & Duties**

* Consult opening check list to ensure all service areas are properly set up

* Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by a manager

* Check tee sheets and daily events for detailed charging information including Google Docs and table set up as needed

* Maintaining floor presence and greeting guests upon arrival

* Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly

* Staying updated on current menu choices, allergens, daily specials and menu variations

* Ensure guests receive food and beverage in a timely manner

* Ensure guests are enjoying their dining experience by table touch

* Learn specialty cocktails, wine and spirits at various locations

* Accurately prepare mixed drinks/beer/wine for guests while adhering to portion control standards put in place by management

* Handle all payments accurately

* Effectively handle guest complaints or problems with a positive attitude

* Well versed and able to communicate history, products and services of Erin Hills

* Ensure all radio communication is respectful, professional and courteous

* Adhere to safety regulations as provided by Erin Hills and OSHA

* Responsibly check guests' identification to ensure that they meet the minimum age requirements to consume alcoholic beverages

* Respectfully refuse beverage service to guests whom appear overly intoxicated and inform management immediately

* Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards

* Follow guidelines and policies set forth by Erin Hills Employee Handbook
