Quality Assurance Technician Job Description

Swire Coca Cola USA is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring and conducting various checks and testing of raw, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor plant sanitation and personal hygiene to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform standardized quality sampling and checks during production, organizing collected data into electronic logbooks and databases.
  • Report variances and non-conformities to plant management and follow all required work instructions, work aids, and forms.
  • Ensure ISO-GFSI compliance, FDA-FSMA regulatory requirements, and Food Safety and Quality programs are implemented by the company.
  • Perform analysis of incoming, in-process, and finished materials using analytical standardized procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED, Bachelor's degree in science-related field preferred.
  • 2+ years' experience in Food Plant Quality Assurance or 5+ years of production experience may substitute for the QA experience.
  • Familiarity with lab safety and handling of hazardous materials.
