Job Summary:

Facilitates is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing project quality controls in accordance with GH Phipps quality systems and contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage all phases of quality control
  • Communicate project-specific quality requirements to all affected departments, subcontractors, and customers
  • Ensure that the Quality System is established and implemented by persons doing work that impacts quality
  • Monitor progress of activities
  • Ensure that the Quality System is maintained
  • Act as the project quality liaison with parties outside the company on matters relating to quality
  • Report to senior management on performance of the Quality System, including needed improvements
  • Review and approval of all project Quality System records
  • Review and approval of project quality-related contract submittals
  • Manage all project inspection and quality control activities
  • Resolve quality non-conformances

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture
  • Minimum of five years of experience in QC Systems
  • Solid computer skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office products and adaptable to other computer programs
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and planning skills
