Position Overview:
This role provides the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement. At Great West Casualty Company, we pride ourselves on being a leading provider of insurance solutions tailored for the trucking industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Your main focus will be to cultivate strong relationships with our clients' internal claims teams or external administrators. You will oversee and navigate the claims process and settlements, perform claim assessments, and evaluate the claims management capabilities of potential clients. Additionally, you will ensure that reserves are sufficient for high-value losses, with a strong emphasis on risk management and mitigation.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- Experience in handling intricate, litigated transportation claims or relevant commercial liability claims, ideally in commercial auto.
- Familiarity with third-party administrators or internal claims departments.
- Strong skills in litigation, negotiation, problem-solving, and mediation.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge in injury evaluation.
- Willingness to travel for mediations, client meetings, and industry seminars.
