Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sales and Marketing Strategies: Create and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing plan to drive business growth and increase occupancy rates.
  • Build Relationships with Area Professionals: Establish and maintain relationships with local healthcare professionals, social workers, and other referral sources to generate leads and promote our community.
  • Conduct Tours and Presentations: Show apartments and retirement community to prospective residents, guests, and others, and provide information about our community features and benefits.
  • Manage Sales and Marketing Department: Supervise and coordinate the sales and marketing team to ensure effective execution of sales and marketing strategies.
  • Monitor and Manage Budget: Oversee the sales and marketing budget and ensure that expenses are aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to all residents, families, referral sources, and coworkers, and promote the rights and dignity of all residents.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma with some vocational or college coursework in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Five years of related experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Sales management theory, effective sales closing methods, prospect evaluation methods, principles of organization and functions of a retirement community, lead tracking and prospect communications methods, motivation and coaching of employees, and procedures for monitoring budgets.
