Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based Role

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team. This role involves providing speech and language therapy to students, helping them overcome communication challenges and succeed academically. The ideal candidate will be passionate about student development and have strong collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals for students
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in various educational settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to create a supportive learning environment
  • Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations

Qualifications:

  • Virginia SLP licensure required
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred, but CF candidates are welcome to apply
  • Experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
