Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality therapy services to students in a school-based setting in Richmond, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized, evidence-based therapy to students with speech and language disorders.
  • Utilize standardized assessments to diagnose communication disorders and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Oversee and manage caseloads, ensuring student needs are met through proactive, high-quality care.
  • Attend, facilitate, and write legally compliant and defensible IEPs, collaborating with the school's multidisciplinary team.
  • Supervise Clinical Fellows (CF) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
  • Work closely with special education teachers & gen education staff to ensure seamless service integration.
  • Participate in training & workshops, enhancing your skills and staying up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Current California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
  • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders (CFY applicants are encouraged to apply)
  • Proficiency in case management, IEP writing, and familiarity with special education compliance & regulations
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent written & verbal communication abilities, and a collaborative, positive demeanor
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work autonomously, managing time efficiently in a school-based setting
