RN - Med Surg - Hematology Unit

The Registered Nursing (RN) role at Sentara Healthcare is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in our Med/Surg - Hematology Unit. As a RN, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate and individualized care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including chronic blood disorders such as Sickle Cell. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based care and promote a culture of safety and excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Med/Surg or Hematology setting is required. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
