Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Hematology/Oncology team at the Children's Hospital Of The King's Daughters. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities:

* Provide developmentally appropriate care to patients with hematology and oncology conditions.
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
* Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in hematology and oncology care.

Requirements:

* Current Virginia state license as a Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse holding a valid Compact State license.
* RN certification preferred.
* Minimum of 1 year experience in Hematology/Oncology preferred.
* BSN is preferred.
* Pediatric experience preferred.

Working Conditions:

Expected to work in a patient care environment with minimal exposure to environmental hazards. Exposure to communicable diseases and moderately adverse working conditions due to the need to perform certain patient care activities can be expected.
