Continuous Improvement Team Leader of People Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Continuous Improvement Team Leader of People Development to join our team at Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in facilitating the implementation of our World Class Manufacturing (WCM) program at the CBI level, focusing on improvements around people development.
Key Responsibilities- Support local manufacturing teams with training, coaching, and execution of the WCM program, utilizing knowledge of Saint-Gobain pillars and supporting programs such as cost deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-site teams to develop standards and share training content and best practices.
- Identify and drive WCM tools to meet the people development pillar objective across the group.
- Provide leadership training and tools to facilitate development of department/site skills matrices, cross-business site matrices, and competencies analysis to identify and reduce competency gaps.
- Work with peers across Business WCM Steering Committee to share and pilot best practices.
- Identify and deploy reward and recognition programs as contact and expert for the SWP tool and analysis timing and protocol.
- Work with HR to ensure completion of SWP annually at budget time and consolidate across the group.
- Utilize SWP data to identify gaps and drive new training programs as needed.
- Work with HR partner and external trainer to provide in-person training sessions for all new supervisors at least twice per year.
- Identify and provide online curriculum for supervisors to facilitate continuous learning.
- Work with plant leaders, WCM team, HR, and Operations Director to identify needs and develop training curriculum for improving plant leadership teams.
- Bachelor's degree in operations management or business administration with a focus on manufacturing or engineering.
- 5-8 years' experience in a production environment that utilizes WCM or related systems.
- 5-8 years' experience with lean manufacturing principles, quality management systems, production processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of the People Development Pillar and WCM methodology.
- Six Sigma or Lean experience in a manufacturing environment with technical competency in TPM, DMAIC, DFSS, Lean, Kaizen/Work-out, process management, change management, and advanced statistical techniques.
- Black Belt Certification – preferred.
