Position Overview:
The Senior Financial Accountant is responsible for executing routine monthly accounting functions with a specialized knowledge in U.S. GAAP, aimed at facilitating quarterly SEC reporting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of quarterly cash flow statements.
  • Analysis of annual goodwill impairment and intangible RUL assessments.
  • Support for IP in-licensing initiatives.
  • Conducting due diligence and valuations for business acquisitions.
  • Development and updating of accounting policies.
  • Calculation, preparation, and posting of both recurring and non-recurring journal entries with the necessary supporting documentation.
  • Analysis of account balances, investigation of unusual items, and completion of balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Assistance to internal and external audit teams as required.
  • Review and posting of journal entries, resolving any identified issues through thorough research of accounting documents.
  • Collaboration with other accounting and finance teams to address inquiries and provide necessary resolutions.
  • Posting, reviewing, and reconciling cross-border charges and transactions, providing summaries and supporting documentation as needed.
  • Consultation and application of accounting policies and procedures related to cross-border transactions.
  • Participation in general ledger activities, including maintenance of recurring journal entries, establishment of cost centers, and management of accounting periods.
  • Involvement in the preparation of ongoing internal and external financial reports.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in public accounting is required, preferably with a Big 4 firm serving publicly-listed multinational clients.
  • A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
