POSITION SUMMARY

As a vital contributor to our recreation team, you will serve as a primary resource for all leisure activities available on the property.

Your responsibilities will include providing guests with comprehensive information regarding our recreation amenities, which may encompass swimming pools, entertainment zones, fitness centers, and children's activity areas.

You will actively encourage, register, and schedule guests for participation in various recreational programs, fostering a fun and inviting atmosphere. It is essential to uphold the rules and regulations of our facilities to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests and members.

In the event of an emergency, you will be expected to observe activities within the recreational areas and respond appropriately in accordance with established procedures.

You may also be required to handle cashier duties in facilities that involve point-of-sale transactions and assist in hosting private events within the recreation areas.

It is crucial to remain vigilant for any situations where guests may not be able to safely engage in activities and to communicate such concerns to your supervisor. You will provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of recreational facilities, equipment, and supplies.
- Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management and complete necessary safety training and certifications.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring a professional appearance and maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs while assisting individuals with disabilities.
- Communicate effectively with others using clear and professional language; answer phones with appropriate etiquette.
- Foster positive working relationships with colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, and facility rentals.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Perform visual inspections of tools and equipment to identify any defects.
- Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks as required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: No prior experience required.
- Supervisory Experience: None required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- License or Certification: CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and any necessary recreation equipment certifications as mandated by local and state agencies.
