About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee our JIRA administration and configuration efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and experience with Atlassian tools.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and organizing new projects on the JIRA platform, configuring the layout, design, workflow, and dashboard. Additionally, they will evaluate configuration and access, resolve database performance/capacity issues, and perform database recovery and back-up.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates Jira and Jira Confluence reports and dashboards for possible tailoring or configuration for Enterprise data
  • Configures and/or automates Jira and Jira Confluence reports
  • Produces Jira and Confluence reports
  • Provides support on any implementation of tools from JIRA Marketplace for reporting
  • Administers existing Trouble Ticketing and Problem Reporting (TTPRS) System, using JIRA
  • Participates in the strategic planning process using Atlassian tools to provide cross-organization traceability to program goals, initiatives, and available resources.
  • Responsible for configuring the current layout, design, workflows, dashboards, reports, advanced roadmaps, automation rules, notification schemes, permission schemes, integration points and general JIRA hygiene in close collaboration with the team.
  • Work with Product and Project Managers to document use of JIRA and publish guides (training material) & best practices.
  • Serve as technical lead for JIRA platform providing in-depth troubleshooting as needed.
  • Review various JIRA Software projects and use of common platform workflows. Make recommendations to reduce duplications, conflicts, or high-risk configurations.
