Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the strategic and operational business needs of our original claims function. As Executive Director of Claims Operations, you will be responsible for delivering industry-leading service results while ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple claims processing units and execute strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and implement process improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to drive results.
- Build strong partnerships with Plan Presidents and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of direct reports.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field and at least 10 years of management experience in claims operations. Experience driving AI/RPA initiatives and transformations is also preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience implementing digital improvements leveraging advanced technology solutions.
- Accountability for performance of large-scale claims operations.
- Leadership skills to manage large teams (500+).
- Demonstrated track record of executing with technology partners.
