Job Overview:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of machinery including production and testing equipment, conveyors, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and pneumatic systems.
- Engage in fabrication, welding, and torching tasks.
- Overhaul tools, gearboxes, and spindles.
- Interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
- Utilize measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers effectively.
- Operate powered industrial vehicles and man lifts.
- Manage overhead cranes and portable cranes.
- Possess familiarity with PLC operations and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve quality issues and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and safety standards.
SAFETY PROTOCOLS:
- Hazard Communication
- Lockout/Tagout Procedures
- Permit Required for Powered Industrial Trucks
- Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) and Ergonomics
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to follow and implement written work instructions.
- Demonstrate a high level of accuracy in work.
- Maintain awareness of surroundings and proper equipment operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Maintenance Technician role within a manufacturing environment.
- Regular, full-time attendance is essential for this position.
- Promote and uphold health and safety practices as mandated by regulatory bodies and company policies.
