Job Overview

American Aluminum Extrusion is seeking a highly skilled Senior Logistics Driver to join our team. This role involves safely and efficiently transporting goods from one location to another, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a truck or tractor-trailer, planning routes, and meeting delivery schedules. They will also be required to load and unload goods using appropriate equipment and techniques, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and report any issues or maintenance needs promptly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a truck or tractor-trailer safely and efficiently to deliver goods to designated locations.
  • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment and techniques to avoid damage.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Report any issues and maintenance needs promptly.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Company requirements. This includes having a Class A Driver's License, being at least 21 years old, and having a minimum of two years of experience driving with interstate commerce under a CDL.

Work Environment
  • Ability to lift and move equipment or parts that weigh up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to sit and drive for long periods.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience and location.
