Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Energy Specialist to join our technical service team in Roscoe, TX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our customers, ensuring their wind turbines operate at optimal levels.

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot errors on wind turbines to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operation of wind turbines.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior management or directly communicate with support teams as needed.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Report any safety concerns or deviations to site management immediately.
  • Submit all required documentation promptly, including service checklists, work orders, time sheets, and expense reports.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to address their needs and concerns.
  • Drive continuous process improvements through data analysis and best practices.
  • Participate in training assessments to enhance technical skills.
  • Support site managers in performance reviews for technicians.
  • Evaluate human performance concerns and escalate them to site management as necessary.
  • Conduct site inventory as required and order consumables and office supplies accordingly.
  • Ensure proper packaging and labeling of parts for shipping.

Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Minimum two years' experience in the wind industry with a high school diploma or three-plus years' experience with an associate's degree or trade school certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Able to climb heights up to 250 feet or greater and work in confined spaces.
  • Meet body weight restrictions of 265 pounds or less as required by safety regulations.
  • PASS A PHYSICAL ADMINISTERED BY A MEDICAL PRACTITIONER TO ENSURE ABILITY TO SAFELY PERFORM JOB FUNCTIONS AND MEET PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF POSITION.
  • Clean driving record and pass pre-hire drug screening.
  • LAWFULLY AUTHORIZED FOR EMPLOYMENT IN THE UNITED STATES.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Management and/or team leadership experience.
  • Understanding and commitment to a safe work culture.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Conflict resolution experience.
  • Contract management experience.
  • Relevant work experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, maintenance/troubleshooting in a military, industrial, or automotive industry.
  • SAP experience preferred.

Estimated Salary:
$70,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
