ONWARD is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Vice President in its Transaction Advisory Services team. This high-impact position is ideal for a senior executive who excels in leading complex financial transactions and delivering strategic advisory services. The Vice President will oversee teams, manage client relationships, and play a pivotal role in the execution of financial due diligence, ensuring seamless transactions and optimal outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage large-scale financial due diligence engagements for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.
  • Develop and oversee complex financial models, valuations, and transaction analysis to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Provide expert guidance on deal structuring, financial strategy, and risk management to drive successful transactions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Present key findings and recommendations to senior executives and boards of directors, effectively communicating complex financial information.
  • Lead negotiations by providing strategic and financial insights, facilitating successful deal closure.
  • Mentor and manage a team of associates and senior associates, ensuring the delivery of top-quality work.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the firm's transaction advisory practice.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Transaction Advisory Services, mergers and acquisitions, or investment banking roles.
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex transactions and managing large client engagements.
  • Advanced expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence processes.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present to C-suite executives and boards.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and mentor junior professionals.
  • CPA, CFA, or similar certification (strongly preferred).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple priorities.
