Job Title: Sanitation Worker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sanitation Worker at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC). As a key member of our food and nutrition department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and serve food trays, ensuring that all items are properly prepared and presented.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen and cafeteria, adhering to departmental and regulatory agency policies.
  • Operate and maintain the dish machine, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and stored.
  • Wash and sanitize all equipment and surfaces, following established procedures.
  • Collaborate with the food service team to ensure that all meals are prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3 months of experience in a food service or sanitation role preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
