Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sanitation Worker at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC). As a key member of our food and nutrition department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Assemble trays, serve and deliver food; dispense beverages and necessary condiments per departmental standards and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen per departmental, GBMC, and regulatory agency policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate, clean, and unload dish machine according to policies and procedures. Place equipment in appropriate storage place.
  • Hygiene and Dress Code: Adhere to GBMC and department policies for proper hygiene and dress code.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience: 3 months experience preferred
  • Skills: Ability to work well under time constraints and to work effectively as a team member.
