Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Create and manage patient schedules, converting inbound and outbound calls into appointments, and ensuring timely and courteous interactions with patients.
  • Patient Registration and Data Management: Register new patients, update existing patient demographics, and collect detailed patient information, including personal, insurance, and financial data.
  • Phone and Communication: Answer multi-line phones, maintain a polite and consistent phone manner, and handle caller needs or direct them to the appropriate party.
  • Facilitating Patient Flow: Notify providers of patient arrivals, be aware of delays, and communicate with patients and clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support, including greeting patients, signing them in, and obtaining necessary data to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development through weekly conference calls and occasional classes to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma required, Associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2 years of front office experience.
  • Skills: Computer literacy in Microsoft Office programs, excellent people and customer service skills, ability to handle heavy phone work, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical/Healthcare Experience: Prior experience in a medical or healthcare office setting.
  • Independent Work: Ability to work independently, think on your feet, and make sound decisions.
